MISSION STATEMENT


"To promote, support, and enhance the educational opportunities at Marble School and to foster and encourage communication among the Marble community.”

Because you have a child at Marble Elementary, you are a member of the Marble Parent Council.  As a member, you have full voting rights.  Your input is vitally important to our school.  We hope you are able to join us for our next meeting!

Marble's Annual Field Day is coming up!  Volunteers are essential to make this a success!  We will need popsicles, water balloons or your time.  Please sign-up at the link below to join in the fun!

MARBLE PARENT COUNCIL MEETINGS


We held our last Marble Parent Council Meeting on May 7th for this school year.  Thank you to the all our parent volunteers, teachers and administration for your countless hours of planning, volunteering, and support. We accomplished a lot this year all for the benefit of the students at Marble!  We hope that you have a fun summer and look forward to more exciting programing next school year!

FUNDRAISING PROGRAMS


Fundraising is an important part of our parent council.  The monies raised through our fundraising efforts support and enhance our children’s learning experience.  This year, the revenue raised through our fundraising efforts will help pay for some of the following items:

Welcome Wagon Activities

Last year, Marble Parent Council achieved our long-term goal of contributing a significant amount of money to purchase Smart Boards.  All classrooms are now equiped with this instruction technology as a result of this major purchase in 2012. This year, we will spend $4000 to purchase new books for the Book Room in an effort to support reading at every grade level and ability.
